It is with great pleasure that I invite you to participate in the second edition of the SURGERY – LIVE! Conference, which is addressed to doctors dealing with proctological diseases on a daily basis.
During the workshops, e LIVE SURGERIES will be performed with the participation of outstanding specialists from medical centers in Poland and Europe. In the second edition of the meeting, the invited international group of experts will perform pilonidal sinus surgery using a laser, rectal prolapse surgery, perianal fistula surgery in a patient with Crohn’s disease using stem cells, hemorrhoid removal using the stapler technique (TST) and classic hemorrhoidectomy.
The form of the meeting allows you to observe surgeries in real time and at the same time have the opportunity to ask questions to the most outstanding specialists in the field of coloproctology.

Carlos Daniel Veludo Mendes dos Santos Leichsenring is an outstanding specialist in general surgery, with many years of experience in the treatment of colorectal and endocrine diseases as well as in advanced laparoscopic and robotic surgery. He currently serves as Coordinator of General Surgery at CUF Descobertas Hospital.
Professor Leichsenring is also the author and co-author of numerous scientific articles published internationally and the organizer of many courses in the field of general surgery. His involvement in medical education also includes the role of Assistant at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon and at the Catholic University of Portugal.
The professor has been involved in colorectal surgery since 1990, and his professional interests revolve around all forms of colorectal illness, including rectal diseases, especially malignant tumors, but also functional disorders. These include primarily rectal prolapse, fecal incontinence, constipation and pelvic floor disorders.
Prof. Trompetto stays very active and performs approximately 500 surgeries per year, including over 100 abdominal procedures. Throughout his career, he performed over 12,000 colorectal surgeries and also supervised interns, helping them perform almost 8,000 surgeries.
Prof. Julius Örhalmi is a renowned Czech surgeon specializing in coloproctology and gastroenterology. Currently, he is The Head of the Coloproctology Specialist Group at the FN Hradec Králové hospital, where he deals with advanced cases of intestinal and rectal diseases. Since 2013, he has specialized in coloproctology, and since 2016 he has been a member of The American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (FASCRS).
Dr. Örhalmi is the author and co-author of numerous scientific publications and an active participant in many international conferences and scientific symposia. His involvement in the development of surgical medicine also includes organizing courses and workshops for young doctors and specialists.
Graduate and lecturer at the Medical University of Łódź. He deals with surgical and proctological diseases through comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the lower digestive tract, including cancer. His interests also include aesthetic medicine, which he uses to treat symptoms of gas and fecal incontinence as well as biorevitalization of the anus and its surroundings.
The treatments he performs include: laser treatment of hemorrhoids, anal skin growths, pilonidal cyst and its prevention (epilation of the skin around the anus and buttock cleft). It offers comprehensive treatment of genital warts in the form of surgical and laser removal and prevention of their occurrence.
Professor Roland Scherer is an outstanding surgeon and a respected expert in his field. Currently, he is the Head of the Center for Colorectal and Pelvic Floor Surgery at the Waldfriede Hospital (Berlin, Germany). Our Expert has over 20 years of experience in his specialization, focusing on modern, minimally invasive surgical techniques. His extensive professional achievements include numerous successful surgeries and scientific publications that have a significant impact on the development of modern medicine.
Professor Scherer also mentors young surgeons, placing particular emphasis on developing new treatment methods and improving surgical techniques. Throughout his career, Professor Scherer has played a key role in popularizing surgical procedures that help patients recover faster.
Participation in this edition of the SURGERY-LIVE! conference requires paying a fee of 50 €.
